pls tell us your haleth emotes

arafinwion:

but i have…so many haleth emotes….some would say….too many…

like. this lady. this wonderful, badass, striking, lady was so brave and courageous her people literally named themselves after her. and i headcanon a lot about her relationship with her mom bc i think that her mom was a big influence in her life and that she taught haleth the culture and history of their house and as such haleth was one of the best choices to lead her people because she knew their past, their stories and what they believed in.

headcanon that they worshipped a god known as the Hunter (which was orome) who they prayed to before each and every hunt. a failed hunt was a sign that he was displeased with something you had done and thus had to improve your life somehow. because of this, haleth being called the hunter was an honor even though i don’t believe that title came to her until she was old and wizened yet strong and wise. when she became more myth to her people than legend because she had saved them from dying. she protected them. i headcanon that she became a figure the haladin told their children about to inspire courage and strength.

also MORE HEADCANON that those in numenor had statues of her (and andreth) they recognized her as An Important figure and while in numenor they knew she wasn’t a myth they still spoke of her with reverence and alsjakdas

i have feelings okay

vardasvapors asked: OMG HOW ABOUT THAT LINE….“[Isildur] alone stood by his father in that last mortal contest; and by Gil-galad only Círdan stood, and I [Elrond]….” something about that last fight with them against Sauron.

generic line up … instead of giving sauron any features i decided to put pearls on cirdan’s helm and re-draw gil-galad’s left eye like 2000 times

Legolas, gems and crystals and veins of precious ore glint in the polished walls; and the light glows through folded marbles, shell-like, translucent as the living hands of Queen Galadriel. There are columns of white and saffron and dawnrose, Legolas, fluted and twisted into dreamlike forms; they spring up from many-coloured floors to meet the glistening pendants of the roof: wings, ropes, curtains fine as frozen clouds; spears, banners, pinnacles of suspended palaces! Still lakes mirror them: a glimmering world looks up from dark pools covered with clear glass.
