andie, she/her, 26, united states. this blog is full of Tolkien. also other art, photos, fandoms, and big-eyes-emoji stuff, but mostly Tolkien. i tag! my girlfriend is bright ivanaskye, who is a lot, but not too much
for some reason i was thinking about how Elros maybe married a Hadorian (it’s statistically pretty likely after all) and then i started thinking about how during the War of Wrath it’s the Hadorian warriors, not the Vanyar, who remind the twins of their father, though he’s descended from both
i don’t think Earendil had a beard but he wore his hair in a Hadorian style (a style he probably picked up from humans in Sirion, because in my headcanon Tuor goes back to wearing his hair very long after he escapes Lorgan, the way he used to wear it when he was growing up among the elves, though he does grow a beard as an adult and keeps it in Gondolin) and he had a Hadorian build, tall and broad-shouldered and strong, and even as young as he was when they were children he’d started to develop lines at the corners of his eyes from laughter and worry
what if you’re giving birth to twins and it’s the end of daylights savings day and the older twin was born first but the second twin travels back in time and is born an hour before the first twin, would that be fucked up or what.
I don’t even remember typing this holy shit
Being born physically later, but chronologically older is a fucking power move if I’ve ever heard of one.
I used my mother-“in-law’s” art supplies to make this in her studio, cackling madly to myself while simultaneously worried that she’d come check on me and see this
