it’s a little bit like vorkorsigan saga, which i also unfortunately know nothing about!
there’s a shitton of math, but it’s really cool and also emotional in context. maybe like the linguistics of tolkien? but probably in a totally different way
really detailed worldbuilding!
something about interplanetary political warring factions, like the underdeveloped background b-plot of the star wars prequels, but More So and with less stupid (actually cool?) aliens
one character’s name is cheris and another one’s name is jedao. i have no idea what either of them do normally

I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet, but it’s an older model and idk if
it’s available anymore. It was like $70 a couple of years ago and it’s
been great

ooooohhh that sounds v affordable…i don’t like, ‘want’ to spend $ on a tablet bc tbh i don’t think i would use it that often – i enjoy drawing on paper much more – but i will check stuff out

(i really like the – classical statuary tinge to it! but with arwen it’s bc those was realistic when they were carved)

yeah lol i do almost all my doodling in a little notebook meant for writing, not drawing, so its very yellowish (and it erases badly!) and has all these little woodchip-bits embedded in the paper, and the ‘dynamic-warm’ setting on my phone camera seems to be the best one

it’s lovely! I like its pointed beak, looks a wee bit salmony. but especially the expression and the handsome tail foreshortening.
